Child Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Caregiver to provide attentive care and support to children in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children, fostering their development, and creating engaging activities that promote learning and growth. Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during care hours
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including educational games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
• Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and hygiene needs
• Support children's social-emotional development by encouraging positive interactions and behavior management
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all children

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to plan engaging activities that support developmental milestones
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is preferred
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality care in a safe environment
