Cleaning / Facility Support Staff – Contract

Role Overview:

We are seeking qualified Cleaning / Facility Support Staff to provide relief coverage at a VAW shelter location.

This role may include:

• General cleaning and maintenance of common areas
• Maintaining safe and sanitary facilities
• Supporting shelter staff as needed
• Adhering to infection control and safety procedures

This is a relief/on-call role — shifts are assigned as needed and may vary in schedule.

Requirements:

• Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and references
• First Aid / CPR certificate
• Comfortable working in shelter environments
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain professional conduct

• Training and orientation provided as needed
