Supervisor/Equipment Operator - NEEDED - GRAND FALLS- WINDSOR

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supervisor Operator to oversee daily site operations related to water and sewer installation, grading, and excavation. This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate equipment, read plans accurately, and guide crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure production targets are met
• Operate and oversee heavy equipment operation, ensuring proper use and safety compliance
• Train and mentor junior operators and laborers
• Provide training and guidance to team members on operational procedures and equipment use
• Facilitate communication between management and staff to promote teamwork and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform precise excavation for: Water and sewer services Basement dig-outs Footings and foundation prep
• Read and interpret grading plans, servicing drawings, and site layouts
• Set grades using: Laser level systems Manual grade checking techniques.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage physically demanding tasks.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively
• Excellent communication skills for clear instruction and reporting purposes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Prior experience as a Lead Hand or supervisory role is mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.92-$40.00 per hour
