Now Hiring! Lead Hand, Assembly

Evening Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 pm

We are currently seeking a Lead Hand for our evening Assembly team, specializing in high-quality architectural millwork and woodworking. This is an evening shift role, ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production environment. You’ll be responsible for overseeing a small team in the assembly department and ensuring a smooth and efficient shift aligned with quality and safety standards.

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily with day shift leads to gain a full understanding of project and manufacturing deadlines.
  • Oversee and guide a small team within the assembly department, ensuring alignment with project scope and timelines.
  • Provide troubleshooting and answer operational questions as they arise.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safe operating procedures at all times.
  • Ensure high levels of efficiency while maintaining rigorous quality control standards.
  • Minimize material waste and encourage best practices in resource management.
  • Assist and/or perform full facility shutdown procedures at the end of each shift.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in woodworking, millwork, or a related production environment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking machinery and safe operation protocols.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical and production issues.
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining quality and safety.
  • Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
