Assistant General Manager

Overview
The Home Restaurant in Maple Ridge is seeking an Assistant General Manager with a solid kitchen background to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate is a hands on leader who excels in fast paced environments, demonstrates strong team leadership and is confident supporting both back and front of house operations.

The ideal AGM will have both FOH and BOH experience as they will train and work in both departments.

Requirements

• Experience in a high volume kitchen required
• Lead and manage kitchen operations including prep, line, inventory, ordering and food quality
• Support front of house when needed, including guest experience and service standards
• Train, coach and motivate team members
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety standards are maintained
• Food Safe, Serving it Right
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

• Previous restaurant leadership experience
• Strong kitchen knowledge and ability to work all stations when needed
• Comfortable supporting both BOH and FOH teams
• Strong communication and problem solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
