Full job description
Job Title: Printer Security & Vulnerability Technician
We are looking for a Printer Security & Vulnerability Technician to support and secure enterprise printers, primarily Xerox MFP devices.
Responsibilities:
- Apply printer firmware updates and security patches.
- Review vulnerability scan reports and assist with remediation.
- Configure and maintain secure printer settings.
- Troubleshoot printer, network, and security-related issues.
- Perform updates during approved maintenance windows.
- Maintain documentation and change records.
Requirements:
- Experience with enterprise printers/MFPs.
- Basic understanding of networking and security concepts.
- Experience with firmware upgrades and device troubleshooting.
- Ability to follow change management processes.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Xerox AltaLink experience.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (Nessus, Qualys, etc.).
- Experience with Xerox Device Manager (XDM) or Xerox Workplace Cloud (XWC).
