PLC Programmer

TENG Inc. is a fast growing, medium-size engineering consultant company providing engineering and project management services to multiple industry sectors. We are looking for PLC Programmers to support our client base in Ontario. Report into our HQ's in Mississauga - hybrid model with travel to client sites.

TENG Inc. – helps our clients to develop, enhance and maintain their facilities in the oil & gas, fuel distribution/terminals, aviation, and other heavy industries. The role requires working closely across disciplines and with our clients to develop efficient EPCM/EPC solutions. In this role you will be required to carry out all aspects of PLC/Control System implementations, from development of equipment/functional specifications to providing commissioning & start-up support.

The PLC Programmer(s) will report directly to the I&C Section Head. The work may include the following but not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Client interface to develop functional requirements and assess project deliverables.
• Develop, contribute and/or oversee the creation of project documentation (including control system detailed design package, control narratives, alarm indexes, shutdown keys, user manuals, FAT/SAT documentation)
• Participate in P&ID, HAZOP, and other design reviews.
• Design and configuration of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
• Design of Industrial network and controls systems
• Participate in project meetings between engineering, project management, operations, and client.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in engineering or Diploma in a related field
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on PLC/HMI/SCADA configuration experience
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in an EPC and Oil & Gas Industry
• Rockwell, Honeywell experience
• PLC Experience with Allen Bradley (hardware and programming environments), with a preference for PlantPAx experience.
• Experience with Functional Safety and Safety Instrumented System configuration.
• HMI/SCADA experience with Wonderware in touch/system platform systems
• Knowledge and experience with common industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DH+)

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
