Seasonal Summer Produce Clerk/ Merchandiser

We are looking for individuals with a passion for fresh produce that appreciate working in a fun and fast paced environment. Must be enthusiastic to learn about handling and selling quality produce, possess a strong attention to detail, and communication skills, love food, care about the community and value the importance of local food systems.

Work days are Wednesday - Sunday

Tasks Include:

Heavy lifting (50LBS), overhead carries, assist with shipping/receiving, unpack products received, count and sort items. Stock up shelves and coolers, operate electric pallet jack, carry customer's purchases to their vehicle, direct customers to location of articles sought providing accurate and knowledgeable customer service. Keep stock, work area and store clean and in order. Perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors)

Environment:

Friendly, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods.

*Forklift license is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
