Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food preparation and cooking expertise, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food service in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
• Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
• Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
• Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menu offerings and special promotions
• Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service during serving hours
• Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all staff

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management
• Supervising experience with strong team management skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Extensive kitchen experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff and management
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional customer service
• Prior experience in restaurant or food service environments is highly desirable

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
