It is one of the largest providers of production chemicals and drilling fluid systems and is focused on being the leading provider of technically advanced chemical solutions throughout the life cycle of the oilfield.

PureChem Services, the production chemical division of CES Energy Solutions, is looking for a self-motivated and experienced individual to fill our Blender position. This full-time, permanent position is located in Nisku, Alberta and reports directly to the Plant Manager. Working hours are rotating 8-hour shifts including some evening and weekend shifts, additional overtime work may be required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in the blending and manufacturing processes for bulk chemical processes.
• Ship and receive liquid chemical products.
• Observe safety precautions, procedures and policies at all times.
• Complete daily inspections of assigned work areas such as hazard control, material organization and facility cleaning.
• Perform routine facility and grounds maintenance including but not limited snow removal and yardwork.
• Able to work courteously with others in a team environment.
• Record data for monitoring inventory, truck scales and other assigned production tasks.
• Follow safety and health procedures including proper use of PPE: goggles, gloves, and other apparatus required for the safe completion of the job.
• Other duties as required.

Required skillset:

• 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience would be considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of the English language as it pertains to health, safety, and chemical manufacturing processes.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks is an asset.
• Comfortable using math for basic calculations.
• Willingness to understand chemical processes.
• Contributes to a team environment.
• Ability to take initiative to complete tasks and duties independently.
• Close proximity to Nisku.
