POSITION

Reporting to the Director of Sales , in the role of HVAC & Energy Sales Engineer. You will be a key contributor in a multi-disciplinary team where you will design, develop scope to help estimate HVAC and energy efficiency retrofits in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. Additionally, you will help with the estimating efforts for HVAC and BAS projects associated with private and public tendered plan/spec projects.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong team player.

· Mechanical Engineering or College Diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience. Member of a professional engineering association considered an asset.

· Previous experience in engineering and construction of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and building automation systems (BAS). Energy efficiency and energy modelling experience considered an asset.

· Knowledge of applicable codes and standards – such as CSA, ASHRAE, Provincial and National Building Codes, etc.

· Strong organization skills and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly meticulous nature, strong attention to detail.

· Ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to work on a few projects concurrently.

· Excellent English language and business communication skills.

· Strong computer skills, Microsoft 365, and other software.

· Valid driver’s license / abstract and criminal background check, mobility including travel within the Maritimes.
