Gold key Insurance has an exciting position available for a General Manager at our Surrey , BC Head Office Location. This will involve our overall organizational strategy and management. If you have an insurance level 2 license minimum, supervisory experience, and five years of insurance office management experience, you may be exactly what we are looking for. We are a leading insurance brokerage for Personal Lines and Commercial Lines in BC with 4 locations and a staff of over 40 and large producer team. We are interested in developing a role that helps support our current infrastructure and reorganization for future growth plans. We Have existing contracts with all them major carriers and use the latest software and technology. We are looking for a positive minded team player with excellent communication skills to add to our management team and growing company.

General Duties :

  • Provide and create excellent customer standards to our clients
  • Supervise staff, scheduling, administration, and office workflow
  • Create and train procedures, workflows, forms , documentation
  • Staff and Producer Support
  • Monitor Reports
  • New quotes and renewals on all types of business
  • Offer additional products to provide Complete Customer Portfolios
  • Insurance Company relations and product development
  • Manage claims issues if need be
  • Resolve customer issues

Useful Skills:

  • At least five years insurance experience
  • Very good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational, administrative, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
  • Insurance Company Portal knowledge , BMS sytems Applied Rater, Epic
  • Computer skills including working knowledge with Server and Office365 environments.
  • Understand and manage basic sales workflows
