POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you passionate about pediatric care and looking for a role that offers true clinical freedom and flexibility?

We are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists (OT) and Occupational Therapist Assistants (OTA) to deliver impactful, in-home therapy to children on the Autism Spectrum. In this role, you will work directly within the child's natural environment—their home—to implement meaningful interventions that improve daily living skills, emotional regulation, and functional independence.

This is an ideal opportunity to practice your craft, earn extra income on your own schedule, and contribute to a meaningful charitable mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide ongoing, evidence-informed pediatric occupational therapy interventions tailored to children on the Autism Spectrum.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professional therapists, speech-language pathologists, teachers, and specialized instructors to ensure holistic care.
  • Engage and educate parents/caregivers, providing them with practical strategies to support their child’s progress between sessions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical notes and progress reports from the comfort of your home office.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Premium Compensation: Earn top-of-market industry rates that truly reflect your credentials and experience.
  • Ultimate Flexibility: Choose your own hours, select your workload, work full-time or part-time, and build a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
  • Geographically Clustered Caseloads: We respect your time. We map out your clients within your immediate, designated local territory to eliminate travel fatigue and minimize drive times.
  • Collaborative Interdisciplinary Team: Gain access to a supportive network of professional therapists, educators, and specialized instructors dedicated to holistic patient care.
  • Mission-Driven Work: Make a tangible difference in the community by helping families who benefit from our subsidized care programs.

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for compassionate professionals who value client-centered, play-based interventions.

  • For OTs: Current registration and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
  • For OTAs: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) diploma program, or extensive OTA experience.
  • Travel & Location: Must be presently located in Toronto or the GTA and willing to travel to patients' homes within your city.
  • Transportation: Access to a reliable vehicle is required for managing home visits (exceptions made for providers working exclusively within downtown Toronto).
