Business Development Manager - Plumbing

Location: Port Coquitlam, BC ( In-Office)
Salary Range: CAD$160,000 –$220,000/year including performance measured bonus

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead and grow the plumbing division across all regions. This role is focused on sourcing new business opportunities and expanding our plumbing service offering. You will be responsible for generating and increasing revenues through the acquisition of new clients, while also overseeing day-to-day plumbing operations. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope of work
  • Help prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors for input and pricing
  • Conduct site visits to assess conditions and verify project requirements
  • Use estimating software and tools to streamline the quoting process
  • Review and analyze quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Prepare detailed proposals and presentations for clients
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and growth of plumbing services across the Lower Mainland
  • Help develop and implement the CustomAir plumbing business plan, including communication of strategic initiatives, organizational goals, and departmental policies

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate of Qualification in Plumbing is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • High attention to detail and precision
  • Sales acumen and a drive to develop new business relationships
