Front of House Staff / Bar Staff

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position requires individuals who are 18+ years of age, passionate about hospitality and can effectively manage various front-of-house operations.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing POS systems for processing transactions.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including food and beverage options.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
• Knowledge and sale of curated mercantile items.
• Assist with food handling and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Handle cashiering duties, including processing payments and managing cash registers.
• Barista duties, including the making of specialty coffees and teas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to customers.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Bartending operations as needed, adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Exhibit excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems and cashiering is beneficial for this role.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 35.0 per week
