Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) – Interventional Pain Management Clinic (Toronto)

We are a busy interventional pain practice in Toronto seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our team. This is a part-time position (2–3 days/week) with potential to transition to full-time.

Our clinic specializes in advanced spine and pain procedures in a high-volume, procedure-focused environment. We are looking for someone confident with fluoroscopy, safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced interventional setting.

Schedule

• Part-time: 2–3 days per week
• Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• May include weekends (based on clinic needs and scheduling)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with fluoroscopy/C-arm imaging during interventional spine procedures
• Support safe, efficient patient positioning, image acquisition, and workflow during procedures
• Maintain excellent radiation safety practices (ALARA principles) and proper shielding
• Support procedure room setup, sterile field awareness, and room turnover with the clinical team
• Help maintain equipment readiness and smooth room flow in a high-throughput environment
• Communicate professionally with patients and the team; complete required documentation

Procedures May Include

• Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) and Pulsed RFA (P-RFA)
• Fluoroscopy-guided spine injections
• Epidural injections (interlaminar/transforaminal)
• Catheter-based caudal epidurals
• Ultrasound-guided procedures and comprehensive interventional spine procedures

Requirements

• Certified MRT with active registration (province-appropriate)
• Fluoroscopy experience and comfort working in a procedural setting (interventional experience strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and procedural safety
• Efficient, organized, and calm in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Professional, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
