Dispatcher

Cold Shot is currently looking for a Dispatcher for our Edmonton location. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, and supporting the freight and operations team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Duties

• Create, schedule, and dispatch pickup and delivery orders
• Coordinate shipments with drivers and ensure timely deliveries
• Communicate with the operations and support team to resolve delivery or routing issues
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
• Work with the freight team to ensure shipments are placed in the correct location.
• Monitor daily shipments and update order status in the system
• Collaborate with drivers, operations staff, and other departments to ensure smooth service
• Follow company procedures and safety policies
• Complete tasks listed on the daily operations checklist
• Notify management of any serious issues.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of dispatch, or customer service experience preferred
• Previous experience in the transport or logistics industry is an asset
• Professional appearance and good interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or stressful situations
• Team player with strong customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
