Welding Supervisor

With decades of innovation behind us and a growing production line ahead, we’re looking for a Weld Shop Supervisor who can lead with confidence, elevate quality, and keep our weld operations running like a well‑tuned machine.

What You’ll Do

As our Weld Shop Supervisor, you’ll be the driving force behind a high-performing team of welders and fabricators. Your leadership will ensure that every product leaving the shop meets Bridgeview’s uncompromising standards for durability, safety, and craftsmanship.

You will:

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of welders and apprentices
• Coordinate daily workflow, staffing, and production priorities
• Ensure weld quality meets engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and support continuous improvement
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Collaborate with engineering, machining, and assembly departments
• Train staff on new processes, equipment, and quality expectations
• Monitor consumables, equipment maintenance, and shop readiness

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who blends technical expertise with strong leadership instincts.

You have:

• Red Seal Journeyperson Welder or equivalent experience
• Proven supervisory or lead-hand experience in a weld/fabrication environment
• Strong understanding of MIG welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable
• A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$48.00 per hour
