Service Technician

The position of Trailer Technician is to provide services and repairs.

We are looking for someone with the ability to or has

• Diagnose wiring issues
• Perform Routine maintenance of company equipment
• Fix Defective or broken trailers
• Drive Heavy Equipment
• Attention to Detail
• Takes pride in work
• Willing to Learn
• Problem Solving Skills
• Perform some minor Welding
• Politely acknowledge and great all customers
• Keep trailers and yard clean and organized
• PDI all new trailers coming in (pre delivery inspection)
• Maintaining shop schedule by prioritizing customer demands
• Unload trailer loads that come in
• Filling out proper paperwork for each task as outlined by management
• Assist customers with hook ups of trailers
• Installing any extra accessories such as E-track, D-Rings, spare tire mounts, ladder racks, etc.
• Would prefer local individuals
• Must have reliable transportation
• Knowledge of hooking up trailers and being comfortable with small parts installations in a garage setting is considered an asset
• Trades fit and finish experience would be an asset
• Experience driving tractors an asset
• Scheduled 8.5 hour shifts, 5 days/ week, including Saturdays

This is a manual labour job, there will be some work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
