Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair cutting, coloring, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and providing personalized recommendations.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations.
• Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products and upselling additional services to enhance client satisfaction.
• Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently.
• Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere to ensure repeat business and positive client experiences.
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a barber or stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment.
• Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and engage clients professionally.
• Experience with retail sales within a salon setting is preferred.
• Front desk experience is a plus, including proficiency with appointment scheduling systems.
