What We Need
Sales Development Representative
A Sales Development Representative at HPD is responsible for leading our efforts to find new business and uncover new opportunities. The primary purpose of this role is to introduce HPD to prospective dealers and position us as Canada’s leader in delivering Moments of Fun. The Sales Development Representative focuses on generating qualified leads, opening new accounts, and creating opportunities that fuel our growth flywheel.
This role plays a critical part in fueling our Flywheel. By opening new relationships, creating early Moments of Fun, and helping HPD expand into new markets, the Sales Development Representative directly contributes to our growth, dealer trust, and long-term success.
- Proactively conduct daily outreach to prospective customers through phone, email, social media, in person and at events
- Leverage CRM tools to identify opportunities within former or dormant accounts
- Manage the onboarding of new customers and collaborate with the sales team to assess their program tier potential
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries by phone and email ensuring all interactions are accurately logged in the CRM
- Identify and recommend new business opportunities to leadership to support future growth
- Support the organic growth of a portfolio of accounts by delivering exceptional service and consistently promoting solutions that create value
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve client issues effectively
- Represent HPD as a brand ambassador within the hobby industry
- High energy, strong drive, and a commitment to hitting targets
- Clear, confident communication—both on the phone and in writing
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Openness to coaching and a desire for continuous growth
- Comfortable using technology to research, identify, and pursue new business opportunities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Willingness to work onsite with a collaborative, supportive team
- An interest in hobby products, toys, and the world of fun
- French language skills (an asset, but not required)
