The Poke Box - Store Manager

Job Post Description

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of The Poke Box stores
• Responsible for purchasing for The Poke Box and working with various importers to import specialty items
• Maintain the competitive edge by bringing in new menu ideas and new items through various import channels.
• Maintain relationship with suppliers to procure speciality items
• Negotiate contracts on with supplier for food and other inventory items.
• Recruit team leads and team member, oversee staff training for new team members including familiarizing staff with new imported ingredients.
• Oversee staff work schedules, monitor staff performance and provide feedback to owners on regular bases
• Report on inventory, spoilage, revenue, efficiency and utilization to owners
• Reconcile cash and sales, process batch closures.
• Modify procedures and prices base on revenue and trends
• Handle customer complaints in store, manage online customer complaints and queries
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at each location.
• Report and manage any team conflicts or issues
• Manage brand through social media channels
• Customer engagement during grand opening events of new stores
• Ad hoc duties as necessary for the ongoing operation of the stores

Requirement

• Experience in managing multiple quick service operations
• At least 6 years of customer service experience in a hospitality setting (with at least 3 years in a managerial position)
• Food preparation experience specialized in Asian preparation techniques (i.e. cuisines from Japan, Korea, Hawaii)
• Previous experience with an Hawaiian / Japanese restaurant is a highly preferred
• Neat and tidy personal appearance and hygiene an appreciation and passion for details
• Energetic and positive as well as dependable
• Ability to work quickly and evaluate the situation to make quick decisions.
• Ability to clearly follow recipes and prepare food carefully and consistently
• Proven track record of team building in a managerial role
• Report and resolve conflicts in teams
• Proficiency in inventory management, cash reconciliation, and basic financial knowledge
