Shifts: Up to 60hours/week(*based on skill/business requirements*)

Day shift - (overtime available) 7:00am - 3:30pm (M-F, 8 hour shift)

Night shift - (overtime available + premium) 5:00pm - 5:30am (M-Th, 12 hour shift)

  • Potential to earn $120,000+ per year with OT

Position Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled welders with experience in multi-pass welding, passing UT, X-ray testing to join our Burlington facility. The successful candidate will weld fabrications and parts in accordance with supplied drawings, welding procedures, and quality requirements, while maintaining strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Position based in Burlington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weld large, complex steel fabrications (10,000–200,000+ lbs) to required specifications and codes.
  • Perform multi-pass welds using FCAW and other processes as required (0.5 – 1.5” multi pass fillet welds).
  • Experience with 3/32” diam wire an asset.
  • Welding plates / joints up to 8” thick.
  • Complete UT/X-ray quality welds.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding procedure specifications an asset.
  • Plan weld sequences for optimal penetration, wrapping, and efficiency.
  • Operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment safely for lifting and positioning heavy weldments.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements (CCOHS/WHMIS).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in FCAW heavy welding; GTAW and Sub Arc experience are assets.
  • Experience working on large-scale, custom or heavy fabrication projects.
  • Knowledge of welding parameters, preheat/inter pass temperatures, and filler metal selection.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex fabrication blueprints an asset.
  • CWB, AWS, or TSSA certifications are considered strong assets.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable operating overhead cranes and heavy lifting equipment
