Painter

Summary: We are currently seeking a Painter responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing interior and exterior surfaces to ensure high-quality, professional, and long-lasting results. This role includes surface preparation, paint and color matching, application of paints and coatings, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and applying primer as needed.

· Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim.

· Operate and maintain painting tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns.

· Protect surrounding areas with appropriate coverings to prevent damage or splatter.

· Inspect finished work to ensure proper coverage, uniformity, and quality standards.

· Perform minor repairs on surfaces, including filling cracks or repairing drywall.

· Maintain inventory of painting materials and report low stock to the supervisor.

· Follow all company safety procedures and comply with health and safety regulations.

Skills:

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.

· Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

· Ability to mix and match colors accurately.

· Time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Physical stamina to stand, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.

Qualifications (Required):

· High school diploma required.

· Previous experience as a painter in residential or commercial settings.

· Knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation methods.

· Familiarity with painting tools and equipment.

· Understanding of safety procedures and the proper handling of paints and solvents.

· Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required.
