Payroll Clerk / Payroll & Benefits Coordinator

What You’ll Be Doing as the Payroll Administrator
  • Process biweekly payroll in QBO using approved timecard data
  • Reconcile payroll, deductions, banked time, and sick days
  • Manage source deductions, RRSP submissions, and benefits updates
  • Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and prepare ROEs
  • Track apprenticeship hours and maintain records
  • Manage miscellaneous payroll deductions
  • Oversee vacation scheduling and ensure operational coverage
  • Support T4 preparation and assist with job costing adjustments
About You as the Payroll Administrator
  • Have hands-on full cycle payroll experience (from time card entry to processing.)
  • Have experience reconciling payroll across multiple data sources
  • Comfortable using Excel to track hours, remittances and PTO
  • Completion of formal payroll education (e.g., PCP or equivalent)
  • Have 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience
