Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
  • Write detailed service orders by accurately documenting vehicle issues, maintenance requests, and repair recommendations
  • Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Provide transparent explanations of repair estimates, costs, and timelines to customers
  • Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle inspections and customer needs to enhance vehicle safety and performance
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain proper cash handling procedures
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business

Skills

  • Proven dealership experience or familiarity with automotive sales processes
  • Mechanical experience or strong mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle repairs and diagnostics
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers of varying knowledge levels
  • Strong sales aptitude with a talent for upselling services in a consultative manner
  • Experience in automotive repair environments is highly desirable
  • Competence in cash handling and transaction processing with attention to detail
