At CIR Realty, our Marketing Department supports one of Western Canada's leading real estate brokerages through high quality marketing, branding, print production, and creative services. We work closely with hundreds of REALTORS®, corporate leadership, and offices across Alberta and British Columbia to deliver professional marketing solutions that help our agents and our company succeed.

We're a collaborative, supportive team that enjoys working together, sharing ideas, and helping one another grow. We're looking for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and excited to gain hands on experience in both graphic design and print production.

About the Role

The Print Assistant & Junior Graphic Designer plays an important supporting role within our Marketing Department. Working alongside our Print Coordinator and creative team, you'll assist with the production of printed marketing materials while contributing to design projects as needed.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their design career who wants to build practical experience using Adobe Creative Suite, learn the ins and outs of professional print production, and work alongside an experienced in house marketing team.

While print production will make up the majority of your day, you'll also have opportunities to support creative projects and continue developing your design skills in a fast paced marketing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and produce print orders including feature sheets, business cards, postcards, brochures, and other marketing materials.
  • Use Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator to update and prepare templated marketing pieces for print.
  • Support the Print Coordinator in managing daily print production and maintaining efficient turnaround times.
  • Prioritize multiple print orders while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with seasonal marketing campaigns and larger corporate print projects.
  • Support the marketing team with design projects and other creative initiatives as workload allows.
  • Maintain an organized, efficient print production workspace.
  • Complete additional marketing and administrative tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Basic graphic design skills and a strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual communication.
  • Experience with Canva is considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Compensation: $22.00/hour
