Full job description

PCM Artificial Lift Solutions offers a full range of hydraulic and electric surface equipment, progressing cavity pumps and mechanical repair services for the Oil & Gas Industry.

PCM Artificial Lift Solutions is seeking a Shop Labourer in Slave Lake, AB to assist with assembly and repair of oilfield equipment ranging from natural gas engines, hydraulic power units and wellhead equipment.

The responsibilities of the Shop Labourer include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist mechanics as needed.
  • Daily shop cleanup and housekeeping.
  • Use basic hand and power tools.
  • Assisting any departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by shop foreman.

Preferred Skills:

  • Interest in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with natural gas engines and hydraulic systems would be an asset, but not required.
  • Previous experience working in a shop environment.
  • Experience operating a forklift.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment with guidance from supervisor.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks and show initiative to be self- sufficient as needed.

Pay: Compensation based on experience.
