As a Millwright, you would be expected to:

  • Receive instruction, and carry out necessary tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor
  • Able to work Shut Down work at various locations throughout BC and AB
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and installation operations
  • Work at elevations
  • Layout, position and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications on assignments
  • Laser alignment of shaft coupling and bearings on pumps, motors, and drives
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Be able to work closely with the supervisor and trades

Requirements:

  • Must pay close attention to detail
  • Have the ability to meet deadlines,
  • CWB certification will be considered an asset
  • Red Seal will be considered an asset
  • Fall Protection, Aerial workplace platform, Confined Space Entry and Monitoring and Respirator Fit Test, are requirements of this position
  • Willing to work out of town

  • Confined Space Certification (required)
  • MEWP (required)

  • 75% (preferred)
