Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Steel Fabricator/Welder and bring precision, strength, and craftsmanship to every project! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for fabricating and welding steel components with skill and accuracy, contributing to the creation of durable structures and equipment. Your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise will drive the success of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate steel parts.
  • Use FACW welding techniques to join steel components securely.
  • Operate machinery such as press ironworkers, plasma cutters, and hand tools to shape and assemble metal parts.
  • Perform rigging tasks to lift and position heavy steel sections safely using cranes or forklifts.
  • Measure materials precisely with calipers and other measuring tools, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools for cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly tasks in fabrication projects.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently during all manufacturing activities, including ductwork installation and construction-related tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in welding FCAW, fabrication, or related manufacturing roles.
  • Mechanical knowledge of machinery operation, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and assembly techniques.
  • Familiarity with rigging procedures, crane operation, forklift handling, and machining processes.
  • Ability to use calipers, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, power tools, and hand tools effectively.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work.
  • Construction or manufacturing experience with ductwork or structural steel preferred.
  • Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings for accurate assembly.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
