About Us:

Our team is growing, and Marcon Metalfab (www.marconmetal.com) is hiring an experienced Red Seal Machinist or a 2nd to 4th Apprentice to join our dynamic team based in Delta’s Tilbury Park. This position will join the team producing machined parts primarily on CNC and manual machining centers. They will also be responsible for keeping records and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Shifts Available:

Monday to Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm.
Friday to Sunday, 5:15am-5:45pm (will be compensated an additional 4 hours to bring to 40).

Key Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • Set up and operate machine tools such as CNC, Manual Lathes, Milling machines, etc. to make components to specified tolerances and dimensions.
  • Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and sketches.
  • Use a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of Haas and Fanuc controls is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and follow written procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Good documentation and organization skills.
  • Clear communication written and spoken English.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
