Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, program, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will ensure efficient machining processes, adherence to technical drawings, and continuous improvement of manufacturing operations. Duties

  • Set up and operate various CNC machines including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to produce complex parts according to specifications.
  • Program CNC equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files and CNC programming languages, ensuring optimal tool paths and machining parameters.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to accurately produce parts with precise measurements.
  • Conduct routine inspections using calipers, hand tools, and other measuring devices to verify part dimensions and quality control standards.
  • Maintain machine tools by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making adjustments for continuous operation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve machining processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for material handling and part transportation within the facility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages like Fanuc or other control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
  • Mechanical aptitude with understanding of manufacturing processes, welding techniques, and machining principles.
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for part design and modifications
  • Proficiency with measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools for quality inspection.
  • Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during setup and production.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure parts meet specifications before packaging or assembly.
  • Ability to work safely with mechanical equipment while adhering to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
