Designer

Designer - Quotation Specialist
Design office storage equipment layouts and quote pricing of projects to our Sales team.

Work closely with Architects and Interior Designers on space planning and floor plans.

Design storage equipment renderings and layouts using custom software design tools e.g. Configura.

Build pricing based on the floor plans you create in our 3D rendering tool.

Receive requests from Architects, Interior Designers, Office Furniture Dealers and the Sales team for floor plans.

Determine Spacefile's product placement in floor plan drawings.

Prepare pricing/quotes based on drawings.

Review contract documentation.

Prepare 3D drawings of floor plans.

Communicate and deliver drawings and quotes to the sales team on a daily basis.

Regular communication with the Sales team and occasional site visits.

Build relationship and communicate with furniture dealers, architects and our international customer base.

Responsible for finding and tracking opportunities at on-line sites.

Training will be provided on the 3D software tool we employ, e.g. SpaceTools (Configura)

Skills & Knowledge Required:

Strong computer software skills and knowledge are a requirement

Strong math skills to determine pricing, project costs and provide detailed quotes.

Strong communications skills to explain pricing, strategy and communicate with

our network of dealers in Canada & USA., and Latin America.

Experience in software like MS Excel, Configura, Sketchup, Rivet, and Autdocad is a plus.

Strong English speaking skills to convey information to various international locations.

Education : Design and/or Engineering and experience using drawing software .

Must be authorized to work in Canada

Pay: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
