The Kingsmen - Barbers on King has been a trusted, valued small business in Clarington since 2017 and are now looking to expand our team. With shops in Courtice (our original location), Bowmanville, and Cobourg - we are looking to add to our Kingsmen family.

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a keen eye for detail in hair styling. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform haircuts, shaves, and other grooming services according to client preferences.
• Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
• Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
• Maintain inventory of retail products and assist with retail sales as needed.
• Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.

Skills

• Proficient in hair styling techniques, including cutting, and shaving.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and recommendations.
• Experience in upselling products or services is a plus.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the workplace.
• Familiarity with front desk operations in a salon or barbershop setting is advantageous.
• Retail sales experience is preferred but not required.
