Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our healthcare team in Wasaga Beach, ON. This role is ideal for night-shift champions who thrive in structured, 12-hour shifts and are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during overnight hours.

Schedule & Shift Structure

• Shift Times: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

• Days: Monday to Sunday (Operational 24/7)

• Rotation: Rotating schedule (Includes alternating weekends and weekdays)

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients/residents in accordance with college standards and individual care plans.

• Monitoring & Assessment: Conduct ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize/document changes in health status.

• Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining strict documentation.

• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses (RNs), physicians, and the broader healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely electronic and paper medical records.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active registration and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as an RPN.

• Certifications: Valid CPR/BLS certification.

• Availability: Must be fully available to work 12-hour night shifts (8 PM - 8 AM) on a rotating Monday–Sunday schedule.

• Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently during night hours.

• Compliance: Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and up-to-date immunizations (as required by healthcare regulations).
