Duties

• Greet customers warmly, offering assistance and answering questions to foster a positive shopping environment
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts issuance
• Manage cash register transactions efficiently while maintaining precise cash handling and balancing tills at shift end
• Conduct product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase sales opportunities
• Assist with merchandising tasks to ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Skills

• Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customer bases
• Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles with a focus on sales growth
• Strong technical sales experience, including product demos and explaining features to customers
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for transactions
• Excellent communication skills paired with active listening to understand customer needs
• Strong organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and retail operations to support store presentation efforts
