Cashier/waiter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards during food preparation and serving
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about menu items and restaurant operations
