Full job description

We are currently hiring an experienced Commercial Kitchen Fire Suppression Technician only.

This is a field service position. Technicians travel to commercial customer locations throughout Ontario using a company vehicle.

This position is not for Fire Alarm Technicians, Fire Sprinkler Fitters, Security Technicians, Electricians, or other fire protection trades. Applicants must have hands-on experience inspecting and servicing commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, test, service, and maintain commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
  • Install, inspect, and service portable fire extinguishers.
  • Test and inspect emergency lighting systems.
  • Accurately complete service and inspection reports and invoices.
  • Pick up and deliver equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a professional, safety-first approach on every job site.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing Apollo Fire Systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial kitchen fire suppression systems is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with hand tools and on ladders.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Professional, dependable, and client-driven.
  • Valid G driver's license with a clean driving abstract
