Are you an experienced collections professional who thrives in a results-driven environment? Do you have a proven track record managing high-performing frontline collection portfolios while maintaining strong compliance standards?
SinglePoint Group International, through our prominent brand Credit Bureau of Canada Collections (CBCC), is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Third-Party Collection Officer to join our frontline collections team. This opportunity is ideal for experienced collectors with Schedule A Bank experience who want to leverage their expertise, take ownership of complex portfolios, and contribute to a high-performing collections environment.
This is a full-time remote position available to candidates across Canada. The schedule requires flexibility, including one late evening shift (12:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. ET) and one mandatory Saturday shift (8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. ET).
Responsibilities

Manage collection activities for assigned third-party portfolios, including financial loan accounts

Conduct professional collection calls with past due customers and negotiate payment arrangements within established client guidelines and risk parameters

Apply advanced collections techniques to resolve delinquent accounts while maintaining a customer-focused approach

Assess account risk and escalate accounts requiring additional action

Accurately document collection activity, account updates, commitments to pay, and payment arrangements within collection systems

Apply strong negotiation, objection handling, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage challenging conversations

Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, client expectations, and industry best practices

Consistently achieve individual collection targets and contribute to departmental performance goals

Support team success through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a commitment to operational excellence

Complete additional collection responsibilities as assigned
Experience & Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years of Third-Party Collection Agency experience

Previous experience supporting Schedule A Bank portfolios is strongly preferred

Proven track record managing high-performing frontline collection desks and achieving performance targets

Strong performance history with demonstrated commitment to compliance and quality standards

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct effective collection conversations

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes and secure payment commitments

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Ability to adapt and perform successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
