Early Childhood Educator (ECE, ECEA and IT)

Kids Academy in Port Moody, provides high quality daycare to children aged 0-5 years, in a spacious facility, with bright classrooms and a two large on-site playgrounds.

We are currently looking for team members with their ECE (Infant Toddler designation preferred) to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials in line with Kids Academy’s framework
• Implement and make necessary adjustments to daily schedule to meet the developmental needs of the children in the classroom
• Follow childcare regulations during work hours, in and outside of the classroom
• Follow the designated lesson plans when interacting with children
• Abide by all policies and procedures set forth by Kids Academy
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Able to communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children

Requirements:

• Valid BC ECE license
• Valid First Aid, CPR certificates and valid CRC record
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with children, parents, and colleagues
