Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality client care with our clinic. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. The LPN will play a vital role in ensuring client comfort, and well-being while adhering to all regulatory standards and protocols. This is a part-time position working Wednesdays, Thursday evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Administer injections accurately according to Nurse Practitioner orders
  • Document client medical history and symptoms using electronic health records Accuro.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Practitioners to implement the care plans.
  • Educate clients clinic process and answer any concerns clients may have after starting on the health care plan outlined by the Nurse Practitioner.
  • Participate in case management activities to coordinate comprehensive client care

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 Years prior experience in nursing is required
  • Experience with community health, or women's health is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and medication administration required
  • Familiarity with the electronic health record system Accuro is advantageous
  • Background in medical office work is a plus
  • Experience with injections or case management will be considered an asset

Pay: $40.00-$43.00 per hour
