Full job description

Who We Are

At Drop Mobility we believe in a shared, electric, sustainable and connected future for urban mobility. Founded in 2017, we have grown consistently and are now operating in 60+ cities across North America with offices in San Francisco, Toronto, and across the continent.

We work closely in partnership with municipal governments, transit agencies, non-profit bike share organizations, corporates, campuses and other bike advocacy organizations to support and operate thousands of electric vehicles every day. Our best-in-class e-bikes, our full-stack software platform and our dedicated operations division provide mobility solutions that help tackle some of our generation’s biggest challenges around climate change and traffic congestion.

Why You?

We are looking for someone who is logical, organized, curious, and reliable. You should be comfortable learning new tools, asking good questions, following up consistently, and managing multiple priorities at the same time. There are also occasional opportunities to travel - visiting suppliers overseas, warehouses, markets, and conferences - for anyone who’s into that.

Detailed Role Description

The Supply Chain Associate will work closely with the Supply Chain & Operations Manager to support supplier coordination, purchase orders, shipments, inventory records, spare parts, documentation, and internal operations requests.

  • Follow up with suppliers on quotes, samples, invoices, production status, lead times, shipment readiness, and open issues.
  • Support purchase order tracking from quote and invoice through production, shipment, receipt, and completion.
  • Coordinate with warehouses, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records for suppliers, purchase orders, inventory, shipments, spare parts, and documents.
  • Support internal requests related to spare parts, hardware, shipments, documentation, and supplier communication.
  • Assist with process improvements, documentation, and cleaner internal workflows as the company grows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
  • Fast learner who can quickly pick up new products, software platforms, internal tools, and workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, databases, and structured records.
  • Willingness to take occasional off-hours calls or messages to overlap with international supplier time zones.

Nice to have:

  • Interest in bikes, e-bikes, hardware, mobility, or transportation.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools.
  • An eye for graphics and design - good taste in how things look and read.
  • Builder mindset - someone who likes improving systems and making processes better.

Equal opportunity

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
