LangFab Fabricators Ltd. is a manufacturing company specializing in the production of high quality truck bodies, trailers, and related equipment. We are the longest operating fabricator in our industry.

Langfab Fabricators Ltd is seeking Parts Department Personnel.

Parts Department Personnel receives and processes orders in person or by telephone using the Langfab Fabricators Ltd computer database as necessary. He/she will perform a variety of clerical duties, including providing price quotations, checking inventory for product availability, providing delivery dates to customers and verifying prices.

Parts Department Personnel will prepare and maintains the sales orders and purchase orders with receipts and makes routine decisions according to company policies and guidelines. The Parts Department Personnel must load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g. forklifts etc. Other responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness, safety of the Parts Department.

Requirements:

  • Completion grade 12 or technical training.
  • Appropriate credentials and certifications.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Able to drive a 5 ton Flat Deck Truck is an assist.
  • Valid Forklift License is an assist.
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Computer literacy, including working skills of Excel and Email, Genius, Sage 300
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders
  • Placing customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
  • Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
  • Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
  • May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
  • Preparing parcels for mailing.
  • Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
  • Receives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct.
