MASTER PLASTER LTD. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Plasterer to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality finishes and professional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

EIFS & Stucco Application

  • Install Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS), including the application of insulation boards, base coats, reinforcing mesh, and acrylic finishes.
  • Apply traditional stucco finishes to exterior surfaces, ensuring proper moisture barriers and lath installation.
  • Expertly mix and apply finish coats to achieve specific textures (e.g., dash, pebble, or smooth) as required by project design.
  • Perform remediation and repairs on cracked or damaged EIFS and stucco systems to ensure long-term weatherproofing.

Drywall Taping & Finishing

  • Apply drywall tape and multiple coats of joint compound to prepare interior walls for paint or decorative plaster.
  • Perform professional skimming and sanding to achieve Level 4 or Level 5 finishes.
  • Reinforce joints, corners, and fastener heads to create seamless, smooth transitions.
  • Repair imperfections, gouges, or holes in existing drywall and plaster surfaces.

General Plastering & Prep

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesive or metal lath where necessary.
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency for various applications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring site protection for clients.

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Plasterer with specific expertise in EIFS, Stucco, and Taping.
  • Proficiency in using trowels, floats, spray machines, and taping tools (bazookas, boxes, etc.).
  • Knowledge of building codes related to exterior cladding and moisture management.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team on both residential and commercial sites.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to work at heights on scaffolding.
  • Reliable transportation to various job sites within the Winnipeg area.
