Highland Custom Farming Inc. values their employees and wants to find a 310T Mechanic to join the team to help progress the company forward. Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose and repair company-owned trucks, trailers, and some farm equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks including: oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Follow schematics and technical manuals as well as use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Conduct safety inspections and perform necessary repairs on various automotive systems, such as engines, transmissions, and HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with coworkers to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles and submit warranty paperwork.

Skills:

  • 310T licensed Mechanic
  • Safety minded, organized and professional
  • Time management skills
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
  • Understand emission controls: DPFs, DEF, EGR systems
  • Familiarity with farm equipment is an asset
  • Basic welding skills for minor repairs or modifications
  • Ability to lift 75lbs
