Position Overview
As a Third Year Electrical Technician (Apprentice), you’ll be hands on with residential and commercial electrical work, supporting installs, service, and maintenance under the guidance of certified electricians. You’ll continue building your technical skills, confidence, and independence while learning Primera’s standards for clean, safe, professional work. This is a great role for someone who’s motivated, dependable, and ready to take the next step in their apprenticeship.

Core Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical installations, maintenance, and service work on residential and commercial sites
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and scopes of work with support as needed
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and learn practical, real-world solutions
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
- Work closely with journeypersons, other apprentices, and trades
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, teammates, and clients
- Complete required service reports and documentation
- Support the team and uphold Primera’s standards of workmanship and professionalism
Skills & Requirements
- Registered electrical apprentice, currently in or entering third year
- Strong interest in learning and developing technical skills
- Good problem solving abilities and willingness to ask questions
- Able to work independently with direction and as part of a team
- Organized, reliable, and detail oriented
- Clear, respectful communication style
- Comfortable using basic digital tools for communication and reporting
- Takes pride in doing quality electrical work
Education & Experience
- Apprenticeship Status: Third Year Electrical Apprentice
- Experience: Previous residential and or commercial electrical experience preferred
- Technology: Comfortable using digital tools for scheduling and communication

Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time (8:00 am – 4:30 pm)
- Pay: $30.00 per hour
- Hours: 40 per week with occasional overtime
- Additional Pay: Bonus pay, profit sharing, overtime
