Full job description

We are currently looking for a speech-language pathologist with an interest in providing speech services to children and youth with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder.

· General counselling, psychotherapy and assessment services

· Psychological assessment and supervised psychological treatment through Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB)

· Mental health and wellness programs for first responders

· Partnerships with Indigenous communities throughout Ontario

Qualifications/Requirements

You will:

· Be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).

· Have experience working with children and youth with neurodevelopmental disorders.

· Have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

· Have excellent problem-solving, time-management, organizational and communication skills.

· Experience working with and/or in First Nations communities is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities:

· Deliver speech language assessment and therapy services for children and youth with neurodevelopmental disorders.

·Complete associated documentation, including an assessment report, treatment plan and ongoing treatment notes.

·Communicate with families and other stakeholders (e.g., teachers, therapists) regarding goal progress, as applicable.

· Other responsibilities as assigned.
