Job Title: Site Supervisor (Civil & Excavation Projects)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor / Site Superintendent to oversee our civil and excavation projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage daily on-site operations, ensure compliance with safety and building regulations, and drive projects to completion on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, to assist with construction tasks as needed.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors and laborers, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
Ensure strict compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies throughout all project phases.
Monitor project progress and proactively address issues related to code compliance, safety, or on-site challenges.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly and efficiently.
Collaborate with project managers to plan schedules, allocate resources, and forecast project needs.
Maintain detailed records of daily activities, equipment usage, and any incidents on-site.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of hands-on construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven expertise in operating heavy machinery, including excavators; relevant certifications are preferred.
In-depth knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of effectively managing teams.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Salary & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $30-$45, based on experience and qualifications.
