Homestar Inc. is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking Sales Manager to lead our Sales and Business Development Centre (BDC) teams into the next phase of growth.

This role is for a leader who doesn't simply manage a team—they build one. Position: Full-Time, Permanent

What You'll Do

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing both our Sales and BDC teams while creating a culture focused on performance, accountability, customer experience, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Sales and BDC teams to achieve and exceed performance goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Celebrate wins, recognize achievements, and help team members reach their full potential.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop future sales talent.

Growth, Innovation & Systems Development:

  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies that drive revenue growth and improve conversion rates.
  • Lead the continued growth and evolution of the Business Development Centre (BDC).
  • Create and implement scalable sales processes that improve efficiency, customer experience, and team performance.
  • Develop and maintain a structured customer master list and lead management system to support long-term business growth.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement technology, automation, AI tools, and software solutions that improve lead generation, customer engagement, follow-up, reporting, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate current systems and recommend improvements that support future growth.
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive performance.

Sales Leadership:

  • Support the team in closing opportunities and managing complex customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
  • Review sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Act as the escalation point for customer concerns and help deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure seamless project execution.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading and developing successful sales teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and hold teams accountable.
  • Experience building sales strategies and driving measurable business growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, implement systems, and lead organizational change.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Comfortable adopting and implementing technology, CRM platforms, automation tools, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in construction, home improvement, residential services, commercial construction, maintenance, or a related industry.
  • Experience leading inside sales, BDC, customer acquisition, or call center teams.
  • Demonstrated success implementing new systems, technology, or growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Criminal Record Check.
