What You'll Do:
- Perform water extraction, demolition, debris removal, and cleanup.
- Remove and replace damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, and insulation.
- Assist with repairs (e.g., drywall, mudding, painting, trim work).
- Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers.
- Perform asbestos/lead removal-related duties, including assisting with containment setup, cleanup, and disposal following company and regulatory safety procedures.
- Perform specialized cleaning and decontamination. This includes cleaning areas affected by biological or organic materials.
- Complete water, flood, and restoration duties as required.
- Participate in the weekly on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend mitigation calls.
What You Will Need:
- Experience in restoration work (water/fire damage, mold remediation, or construction)
- Knowledge of WorkSafeBC or equivalent safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record
- Great communication skills and a willingness to learn
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- Competitive wages & benefits package
- Opportunities for ongoing training and career development
- Work with a supportive, knowledgeable team.
- The chance to make a real difference for people in your community
